Mini Grants
KWN Mini-Grants
Kenosha Women’s Network annually awards mini-grants to local, not for profit organizations. The amount available for the awards depends on the amount of money raised at our annual Holiday Raffle. Greater consideration will be given to those applicants/organizations who participate in helping raise the funds. While a nonprofit organization would not be excluded from consideration, funding preference is also given to nonprofits that have not been funded in the three previous funding cycles. Mini grant awards are not guaranteed to be the full amount requested, and applying for the grant does not guarantee an award.
Any Kenosha County not for profit agency/club/organization whose primary focus is to help women and/or children from Kenosha County. These groups cannot be affiliated with any religious or political group or church. Grants are not available for capital funding. If you have a question about your group we encourage you to apply and to provide an explanation at the end of the questionnaire.
This year, the application form may be completed online. Click on the link to start the process. If you have any questions, please email membership@kenoshawomensnetwork.org.

Susan B. Anthony
Susan B. Anthony - Women of Influence Awards 2025
The Susan B. Anthony-Women of Influence Awards dinner is held annually to award women for their service to the greater Kenosha community. The event is made possible through the efforts of the Kenosha Women’s Network, AAUW (WI) Branch, and Tempo Kenosha.
The Susan B. Anthony Award is given to a woman who:
• Believes in equity and exemplifies this philosophy.
• Gives of herself that others might learn, grow, advance, and succeed.
• Provides inspiration through leadership.
• Serves the Kenosha County community.
This award is named for Susan B. Anthony, a staunch supporter of equal rights for women. She was a well-known labor leader, publisher, and suffragist who worked diligently for women’s equality. We acknowledge and honor women who follow in her footsteps.
In addition to the Susan B. Anthony Lifetime Achievement Award, Women of Influence in the following three categories are also honored:
◈ Woman to Watch (Under 40)
◈ Business/Government/Nonprofit
◈ Arts/Education
Additionally, grants are awarded to nonprofit groups, agencies, and organization for special projects and programs that directly impact girls and/ or women and their families. Through a grant application process, the SBA-WOI Award Committee select the grant recipients, awarding grants up to around $2,000, based upon the amount of funds raised at the dinner. The Committee also offers a scholarship opportunity for a Kenosha County woman who is seeking to pursue higher education. In the spirit of Susan B. Anthony, the intent of this scholarship is to support a non-traditional aged (adult) female student who will learn, grow, advance, and succeed through further education. All awards will be presented at the annual award dinner on Friday, March 28, 2025, at UW Parkside’s Alfred & Bernice De Simone Arena, Kenosha.
